Investment & Economic Strategy Update — April 29, 2020

In this update video, Brian talks about the U.S. economy and the current state of the market. He discusses the stabilization of the equity and bond markets, the coronavirus, and what is happening with the reported death rates, the shape of the U.S. economy for the first and second quarter of 2020, and what to expect for the second half of the year and 2021 moving forward. Other topics are the abysmal interest rates for long-term bonds; the risk outweighs the value. Remember everything has some form of risk and volatility is normal but the benefits should outweigh them. The U.S. economy is going to see a paradigm shift moving forward but in our opinion, will come back strong. Oil has seen a catastrophic decline in recent weeks and has rebounded some but don’t expect a strong recovery.
